Diving with a Purpose

Imagine dropping into water so thick with life that the wreck beneath you disappears behind a wall of schooling fish. Lankayan Island isn't just a dive destination; it’s a protected marine sanctuary where world-class macro life, hunting pelagics, and our resident sea turtles thrive side-by-side.

A Protected Marine Sanctuary

Because we operate in strict partnership with the Reef Guardian NGO, our reefs are remarkably healthy, vibrant, and fiercely protected.

Minutes to the Sites

No exhausting boat rides here. Over 30 pristine dive sites sit just 2 to 15 minutes away from our jetty.

The Best of Both Worlds

Lankayan is famous for its incredible macro life (ghost pipefish, jawfish, nudibranchs), but it’s just as common to turn around and find yourself drifting alongside a massive green sea turtle or a passing manta ray.

Macro Paradise

For underwater photographers, our sandy bottoms and coral gardens hold endless treasures. Keep your eyes peeled for nudibranchs, frogfish, robust ghost pipefish, and flamboyant cuttlefish.

Pristine Coral Reefs

Because the surrounding waters are a strictly protected marine sanctuary, our reefs are remarkably healthy, vibrant, and bursting with life. You’ll drift over massive hard coral gardens, vibrant soft corals, and busy cleaning stations that look exactly as nature intended: untouched, uncrowded, and thriving.

The Lankayan Wrecks

For many, the highlights of the trip are our sunken wrecks. Artificially deployed to create thriving artificial reefs, sites like the Lankayan Wreck are now completely encrusted in coral and home to hunting trevally, giant groupers, and dense clouds of glassfish.

Turtle Encounters

Thanks to our active conservation efforts, Lankayan is a safe haven for Green and Hawksbill turtles. You will regularly swim alongside them on the outer reefs, see them resting under ledges, and occasionally spot them right from the resort jetty.

Every time you giant-stride into the water here, you’re supporting something much bigger. Because we operate in strict partnership with the Reef Guardian NGO, marine protection isn't just something we talk about, it’s built into the fabric of the island.

We purposely keep the resort small so our reefs face zero crowd pressure, allowing the ecosystem to truly thrive. Between your dives, the conservation experience continues on land. You can visit the Reef Guardian center to see their work firsthand, learn about our coral propagation projects, and join the team on the beach at dawn or dusk to watch nesting sea turtles or witness baby turtles making their very first run to the ocean.

When you dive Lankayan, you aren't just visiting a marine paradise, you are actively helping us protect it.
